Grace-The Power To Reign

Introduction
Deep in my heart I believed that God did not want us living as defeated people. It simply did not make sense that God would forgive our sins, make us His children, and then abandon us to fight sin, temptations, and trials without His help and grace. I knew there had to be more power available.
I sought the Scriptures for answers—answers that had not been taught in the many churches I had attended, in the seminary at which I studied, nor in the numerous Christian books I had read. I was confident that God must have explained it somewhere in His Word.
The answers I sought began to unfold as I labored over Paul’s book to the Christians in Rome. Once I began to see them, the related truths seemed to leap off of the pages. God does have power available for you and me to live victoriously. It became so obvious that I could not understand how these truths previously had been hidden from me.
Please allow me to share this with you. Let me take you through Romans, chapters five through eight, to view these passages in ways which you never may have seen them before. Once you see the truths in these chapters, they will leap off of the pages of your Bible, too.
Today I can say that there is no teaching which has changed my personal life so profoundly as the one explained in these pages. I pray you will be able to say the same thing.
